Sammy, Isabella, and Daisy
Here’s our story
Sammy, my firstborn, is an 8 years old lab mix. My husband and I found him outside a grocery store in Oroville, CA. At the ripe old age of about 4 weeks, he was this ball of fur that I just couldn't resist.
Sammy, my firstborn, is an 8 years old lab mix. My husband and I found him outside a grocery store in Oroville, CA. At the ripe old age of about 4 weeks, he was this ball of fur that I just couldn't resist.
Isabella, my 5 year old Rottweiler/Sheppard mix, is a rescue. We thought that Sammy needed a friend. I was online and came across a dog that had been severely abused and neglected and needed a home. She was about 40lbs underweight and pure skin and bones. The vet wouldn’t spay her until she put on weight, so like any good mom, I feed her like crazy. Much to our surprise, we went to have her spayed 6 weeks later and here came Daisy!
Daisy is Isabella’s daughter. When we went to spay Isabella, we found out that she was already a month pregnant when we got her and she delivered Daisy the day she was at the vet. Daisy is now 4 years old and healthy (and spoiled) as ever.
We love our kids, they are my world. This is the reason that I do what I do. I wanted to make sure that everything that they eat is as nutritious as possible.
